Peaceful Moments.
Migraines are more than just headaches - they can ruin the peaceful moments of your day and stop you from enjoying life. If you suffer from migraines, it's important to know what to avoid to help minimize their severity and frequency. Here are some easy tips to help you out:

Stay Away from Triggers
Triggers are things that can make migraines start. They can be different for everyone, but some common ones are certain foods, stress, bright lights, and strong smells. Find out your personal migraine triggers and steer clear of them.
Don't Skip Meals
Skipping meals can make your blood sugar drop, which can cause migraines. Make sure to eat regular, balanced meals every day. If you’re going to be out for a long time, take some snacks with you.
Don't Use Too Much Pain Medicine
If you are using pain medication, remember that taking it too often can actually make your headaches worse. Read the labels and listen to what your doctor says about taking medicine.
Don't Neglect Using Natural Remedies
Using pure essential oils like Peppermint can be a natural way to help with migraines due to its cooling effect that soothes pain and relaxes muscles. I use it by applying a few drops to the back of my neck. Diluting with a carrier oil like coconut oil is always a good idea.
Don't Forget About a Good Sleep Routine
Both getting too much or too little sleep can be a trigger for migraines. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. A regular sleep schedule can help keep migraines at bay.
Don't Ignore the Warning Signs
If you feel a migraine starting, don’t try to ignore it and be tough. Take a break and do things that help, like applying essential oils, resting in a dark room, using a cold eye mask, or even applying a warm, heated pad on back of neck - these have all been extremely helpful for me! Experiment to see what works for you.
Don't Forget to Write It Down
Keep a diary about your migraines. Write down when they happen, what you were doing, what you ate, and anything else that might help you figure out the causes. This can help you to prevent them in the future.
By following these simple tips, you can help make your migraines happen less often and make them hurt less. Small changes can make a big difference.
What have you found to be the trigger points for you?

Meet Diane Corica

Once upon a time, my life was like a never-ending roller coaster ride, ruled by migraines.

Migraines? They were unwelcome frequent visitors! They began their torment when I was just a teen, making more regular appearances as I aged. The pain was so intense, it left me feeling sick and dysfunctional. My only refuge was a dark room, a cold compress on my throbbing head, and fervent prayers for relief.
Healthy living wasn't exactly my forte then. As the years passed, these migraine episodes worsened, often lasting for several painful days. Social gatherings, family festivities - even if I was there I was often hiding the splitting headache behind a mask of normalcy.
The migraines held me back, preventing me from fully embracing my roles as a wife and mom to six children.
The breaking point? Contemplating missing my own son's wedding due to this debilitating pain.
God then set people in my path that helped me to discover how lifestyle choices significantly impact health.
Fast forward to now - I've emerged stronger and better equipped to handle the struggles that come my way.

Migraines are only occasional guests now, and when they do drop by, I know exactly how to show them the door.
My mission now is to help women break free from their migraine chains, equip them with the necessary knowledge and resources, and guide them down the path towards a healthier, migraine-free life!
